About the restaurant
The service is under the hospitable direction of Nils Dijkstra. Started as a young, open-minded student is now in charge of the entire team. Nils, together with his team will do everything they can to make sure you enjoy your visit.
They help you with your choices, make suggestions when desired and most importantly: they do this with pleasure.
The kitchen team under the leadership of head chef Ad Jansen makes extensive use of products from local suppliers. All recipes are prepared in our kitchen and the dishes are prepared à la minute with pure ingredients. Our head chef tries to take the different seasons into account when creating the menu. There is also an extensive snack menu that only compliments your drink. Of course with the original Van Dobben bitterbal, but also a delicious Dutch platter with ox sausage or a bowl of warm nachos with guacamole and more.
